Walcott has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Merseysiders.
After drawn out transfer speculation, Everton has finally signed winger Theo Walcott from Arsenal.
"The club has won trophies but I want them to win trophies now". His last Premier League start came in a 1-0 win against Leicester City on 26 April a year ago.
Joining Everton gives Walcott the chance to reignite his stalling career and perhaps even fight his way back into the England set up. The fans are brilliant, they are always passionate. and I used to find it very tough playing here. "I want to be a part of the atmosphere here and try to build something special", Walcott told EvertonTV.
Walcott has made just six substitute appearances in the league this season and it became apparent he was not in the Frenchman's plans so had to cut his ties with the club.
He, however, scored a total of four goals across 16 matches in all the competitions. Over the course of this campaign he has struggled for playing time and with this move, will be looking to usher in a new chapter in his career.
"Reducing those squad numbers is important for the football club - although we don't know who the players moving on are because you're waiting for clubs to show an interest- moving players on is the order for us".
White House doctor has 'no concerns' over President Trump's mental health
A doctor asks the patient to say as many words that begin with a single letter given by the doctor. "It is called genetics". However, according to Jackson, Trump's changed his habits since becoming President, cutting down on his Maccies orders.
"It felt like it was time for me to move on [from Arsenal]".
Walcott could make his first Premier League start since April for the visit of West Brom and the 28-year-old is raring to go.
"I'm sure, speaking to the gaffer, I'll get some time to go down". A fantastic history and I want to make that history present.
I'll be judged on goals and I was pleased with my goals last season.
Everton have also signed Cenk Tosun this month and are hoping Walcott's pace can complement the powerful Turkish forward in attack.
"We have not got too many players in that age bracket in the squad, so he adds one to that".
