New York Jets WR Robby Anderson arrested


While in Hennessy's vehicle, Anderson made verbal threats toward Hennessy's family, according to the police report.

According to the report, Anderson faces nine total charges.

Anderson allegedly made threats to sexually assault the arresting officer's wife.

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was arrested Friday in Florida and faces nine charges, including resisting an officer and reckless driving.

According to the Daily News, the police report says Anderson didn't just threaten the cop's wife.

Hennessy also wrote that Anderson sped through several red lights. Anderson was arrested at 2:15 a.m. according to the police report.

"We are aware of the situation", a Jets spokesperson said.

Last May, Anderson was also arrested in Florida and charged with a felony count of resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of justice after an incident at a concert.

The Jets wouldn't comment specifically on Anderson's legal issue.
