"Of all the guys in this pool, the one I'd say who has the chance to be the best head coach is Vrabel".

Can Meyer and OSU pull it off again?

The Tennessee Titans were faced with one glaring void going into the offseason as they fired head coach Mike Mularkey shortly after exiting the playoffs. He said he's already talked to quarterback Marcus Mariota and several players, and talked about his excitement moving forward. "His football intelligence showed quickly, and at the end of the day we felt this was the next head coach of the Tennessee Titans".

Day just completed his first season with the Buckeyes after previously coaching in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers under Chip Kelly.

US Oil Production to Hit New Record in 2018
This, combined with healthy oil demand, has pushed up crude by nearly 15 percent since early December. Distillates - used to make diesel and heating oils - fell by 3.9 million barrels.

"Mike has a commanding presence and a deep knowledge for how he will attack this head coaching opportunity", Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement. If it had, Day would have have been in charge of Mariota's transition from college to the NFL.

Meyer said earlier that Day had turned down offers to be a head coach in the Southeastern Conference to remain at Ohio State. Marcus Mariota thrived in Kelly's fast-paced scheme at the University of OR and could have similar success under Day. The former assistant coach under Chip Kelly is highly-coveted.

This would be a particularly tough time for the Buckeyes to lose Day, as they will have three relatively inexperienced quarterbacks in Dwayne Haskins, Joe Burrow, and Tate Martell battling for the starting job in 2018.

Under the direction of Day and co-coordinator Kevin Wilson, Ohio State finished seventh in the country in total offense in 2017. Barrett's completion percentage also jumped, from 61.5 percent to 64.7 percent, and his quarterback rating went from 135.3 to 160.1. All of the 10 passes he caught in his career were for touchdowns, including two in the Super Bowl.
