Justin Timberlake brings 'SelfieKid' to tears with surprise call, show tickets


The New England Patriots may have lost the Super Bowl, but aptly named "Selfie Kid" Ryan McKenna isn't feeling too much sorrow over his team's loss ever since he snapped that now-famous selfie with Justin Timberlake.

McKenna's fateful photo and the awkward moments leading up to it solidified his place in pop culture history, and while he got an wonderful photo with Justin Timberlake, he didn't really actually meet the singer.

As for the memorable televised selfie moment, McKenna revealed that he wasn't initially sitting in the spot where JT stopped, and that he had to push his way through to get to Timberlake.

McKenna was soon teary-eyed once more, when DeGeneres surprised the teen by having Timberlake call into the show.

The two briefly chatted about the memes that surfaced shortly after, which showed the 13-year-old distracted by his phone while Timberlake performed "Can't Stop the Feeling".
