Starting today at 12PM (PST), users will be able to purchase the Essential PH-1 Ocean Depths variant.
The Ocean Depths color matches a gold titanium frame with an ocean blue ceramic back, and stands out the most when choosing from the three new limited edition colors.
Essential has just announced its new "Spring Collection" of colors for its first smartphone, unveiling three new hues for the Essential Phone. Therefore, there'll only be a limited supply of these finishes and they'll cost $100 more than the standard black or white Essential Phone, or $599.
In a blog post, Essential explained the new Essential Phone models feature a custom ceramic colour, which the company described as a "feat". Rather than partner with ceramics vendors that could more quickly scale up production of these new colors, Essential instead chose to work with an experienced vendor from Japan on a smaller run where they could more closely control the quality of these finishes.

Essential will open sales of Ocean Depths today at 12PM PST exclusively on its own store. And finally, the Copper Black model (with glossy back and a copper frame) will be released on February 22.
Essential's official Twitter account posted what could represent the next color scheme of the Essential phone on Valentine's day, February 14, simply noting that "A new wave is coming". They will only be around for a limited time.
