The Hertz Corp.: "We have notified the NRA that we are ending the NRA's rental auto discount program with Hertz", the rental vehicle company tweeted Thursday afternoon.
And the next day Trump followed LaPierre's lead, ludicrously warning that Democrats would "take away your Second Amendment", an election rallying cry the NRA has been funding for decades.
In one of the tweets Thursday, Trump clarified that what he said was to look at the possibility of giving "concealed guns to gun adept teachers with military or special training experience".
