Girl student stabbed to death outside Chennai college

Ashwini, studying in the first year at Meenakshi College was taken to a private hospital for stab injuries but she died later. He tried to speak to her when she was on way to board a bus to go home. The victim, was sleeping at her sister's house her stalker poured acid on her forehead and escaped. The attacker has been identified as Alagesan, who is associated with a mineral water business.

The 26-year-old stalker not only stabbed the girl but also slit her throat. He has now been sent to the Puzhal Central Prison. Then all of a sudden, he took out a knife and stabbed her and attempted to flee.

While her friends rushed her to the hospital in a two-wheeler, Aswini was declared dead on arrival.

So far the motive of crime has not been revealed by the Police, further details are awaited New Minute reported. But Aswini wanted to attend college as her exams were approaching. However, Aswini's family denied the claim and allege that the police deliberately did not arrest him or file an FIR. Her distraught mother, who supported the family by finding employment as a domestic worker, told mediapersons, "They should not leave Alagesan".
