West Indies cricket team is arriving in Karachi on Saturday for a T-20 series with Pakistan. Young bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also looked impressive in the nets.

The West Indies will take on Pakistan in a three-match Twenty20 series next month, but the men from the Caribbean will be missing a number of their top players.

Najam Sethi said the T-20 series include three matches that will be played from Sunday to Tuesday at National Stadium Karachi.

Sethi explained that several of West Indies' high profile players are not part of their country's global T20 side and so their absence from the Pakistan tour should not be considered a refusal to visit on their part.

"This series, therefore, provide opportunities for new players to state their claim for a regular place in the team, plus gain vital experience in different conditions", the West Indies chief selector Courtney Brown was quoted saying at the announcement of the squad.
