Missing Columbus woman's family pleads for the community's help


Hannah Hart, the third of the siblings adopted from Colorado County, was still missing Wednesday afternoon, along with Devonte and Sierra Hart, two siblings adopted by the family in Harris County in 2009. Investigators also did not find skid marks at the scene that might have indicated a collision.

Deputies said the following day, Hart drove a 2003 GMC Yukon LX off a cliff near Highway 1 in the Westport area of Mendocino County.

Shah Md Manzur Quader, officer-in-charge of the police station, said the criminals, presumably the tenant of the top floor flat, appears to have executed a pre-planned crime.

The SUV's speedometer was also pinned at 90 miles per hour, though it " s no guarantee the vehicle was going that fast during the crash. The speedometer reading, rather, could have been affected by the crash or the recovery effort, the authorities said.

Neighbors have pointed to signs that the children might have been living troubled lives.

Then, about 10 months ago, the Harts moved into their home in Woodland, Washington, neighbor Bruce DeKalb said. Sarah admits to spanking Abigail while the child was bent over the tub, saying that she and her wife do not ordinarily use spanking as a disciplinary measure, but have recently started spanking Abigail due to her behavior. A family member who preferred not to be named said the family was travelling to Bulawayo for a wedding.
