Nurmagomedov was a clear fan favorite.

Nurmagomedov is going to move forward through Holloway's hands, as he is used to being hit harder by his usual foes in the lightweight division, and he is going to drag Holloway into his own personal hell.

Iaquinta, who is the only New Yorker on the UFC 223 card, is not eligible to win the lightweight title because he weighed in at 155.2lbs while Nurmagomedov will be crowned the new king at 155lbs if he extends his winning streak.

And interim champ Tony Ferguson.

UFC officials had to scramble on Friday to find a new headliner.

White revealed the news to ESPN's Brett Okamoto, who moments ago tweeted: "BREAKING: Max Holloway has been declared medically unfit to fight". There's been reports that Anthony Pettis was in the mix to be Khabib's opponent, and that Felder was also asked. If Pettis is indeed Nurmagomedov's opponent, Helwani says it would be a three-round bout.

Will we see a quick finish or a long drawn out fight with Khabib pounding Holloway through the canvas leaving nothing but a pool of blood? Me and you. One-on-one.

Tiger Shroff's 'Baaghi 2' emerges the biggest opener of 2018
This is surely a huge success for Jackie Shroff's son that in just four years of his career he got a hugely successful film. But little did one know (despite news of an encouraging advance booking) that the film would go on to become a blockbuster.

Holloway stepped in to save the UFC's upcoming pay-per-view and chose to take this fight in the 155 lbs category on just six days notice. Holloway hasn't lost since August 2013, a unanimous decision to Conor McGregor.

Nate Diaz is arguably McGregor's biggest UFC rival. Under NYSAC rules, he had two more hours to reach the championship fight weight of 155 pounds.

This fight between Al and Khabib would sound absolutely insane if said a few days ago, but now it is a reality. Brooklyn. You want to talk to me?

Felder, who has won three straight fights and five of six, wrote on Twitter that the state athletic commission said he was not ranked high enough to earn the title shot. Ferguson, still the No. 1 contender, remained in the mix.

This situation would be similar to Holloway vs Pettis at UFC 206 and Romero vs Rockhold at UFC 221. He weighed in at 155.2 pounds just before 11 a.m. Friday. Then, when it was time for Holloway to show up, there was no sign of him.

Nurmagomedov made it clear that his whole team wasn't on the bus.
