LSU, Cincinnati already in pursuit of ex-Ohio State QB Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow's future has been a hot topic this week, but ESPN analyst Todd Blackledge has a cautionary message to share about the graduate transfer quarterback who chose to leave Ohio State.

Although coach Urban Meyer didn't declare a front-runner for the job, both he and Burrow admitted decisions would need to be made.

"I didn't come here to sit on the bench for four years", he told reporters in Columbus, "and I know I'm a pretty darn good quarterback". On top of Haskins, Ohio State also has Tate Martell on the depth chart, meaning they were stacked with three excellent QB options. I will decide where I.

Burrow arrived in Ohio State as part of the 2015 recruiting class but has failed to make an impact during his tenure with the school.

Because he graduated, Burrow can transfer and immediately use his remaining two years of eligibility.

En días pasados, Osuna también fue foco de la atención, y no necesariamente por sus grandes actuaciones sobre la lomita.

For quarterback-needy teams, this is about as close to a free agent as there is in college football.

LSU and Cincinnati have already been granted permission to speak with him, according to Sports Illustrated. Burrow will have two seasons to play at his new school.

I think the ideal fit for Burrow, however, is with Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators. That's where former 4-star quarterback Joe Burrow finds himself.

With Franks still on the roster, Mullen has said he's not actively pursuing the transfer market, but that could be lip service to make sure Franks doesn't transfer out.

Brennan saw limited duty last season as a freshman, completing 14 of 24 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
