Woman throws poop at coffee shop employee who denied her restroom access

The Tim Hortons corporation said it is "deeply concerned" about a graphic video circulating online that appears to show a woman argue with staff at a Langley restaurant, before defecating in front of the cashier's counter and throwing it at staff.

She then pulls down her yoga trousers, defecates on the floor and throws the feces at an employee.

The spokesperson said their current understanding of the situation is that the woman was denied access to the restroom due to "past behavior".

RCMP said officers briefly detained the woman, who is known to police in the area, and issued a date for her to appear in court.

The worker was anxious that letting her in could impact "the immediate safety" of customers and other employees, the spokesperson said, though the concerns were not specified.

"The BC Prosecution Service will determine if charges will be laid", she added.

"We are aware of the video and did attend", said Langley RCMP Cpl.
