We Came As Romans Frontman Kyle Pavone Has Died


Kyle Pavone, vocalist for MI metalcore band We Came As Romans, has died. Pavone tweeted the same lyrics on August 18, his second-to-last post on the social media site.

Pavone's cause of death was not immediately clear.

The metal star, who was from MI, was reportedly taken to hospital on August 19 before passing away on Saturday morning, TMZ reports.

The band shared the sad news on social media Saturday, saying "music lost another great" with Pavone's passing.

Incognito had allegedly gotten into an altercation with another patron of the gym, and was said to have thrown a dumbbell at the man.

They released their statement which stated Kyle's "loss came too early in his life" and everyone in the band is devastated by the announcement.

"In lieu of flowers, we will be providing information regarding charity donations this coming week", the statement read. "The family and the band wish to thank their fans and the music community for all of their love and support as they navigate their grief", they added.

A week ago, Pavone tweeted a line from the band's song "Promise Me": "Will i be remembered or will i be lost in loving eyes". "I miss you so much". I remember you taking me on the bus and playing me the UWWGTB first mixes.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Kyle's family, friends and fans. Their 2013 album Tracing Back Roots earned them a spot at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
