White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said past year that Trump "in no way, form or fashion has ever promoted or encouraged violence".

Trump apparently went on to say that the midterm elections were not only a referendum on him.

"I just ask you to go out and make sure all of your people vote", Mr Trump said. "I hate to say it, if you were a stock, you'd be like, you're very plateaued", Mr. Trump said, prompting laughter in the room.

He is said to have told attendees that the Democrats would "overturn everything that we've done" if they secure crucial votes in the autumn - and that they would do it "quickly and violently".

CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin (shown above center) claimed on that network on Tuesday that any warning by President Donald Trump about the violent far-left group known as Antifa is based on Trump's own "appeal to racism".

Trump signed an executive order in 2017 aimed at overturning the law; however, the president does not have the authority to overturn a law, only Congress can do that.

Trump keeps telling conservative clergy he's "gotten rid of" Johnson Amendment keeping them from going total MAGA from the pulpit.

But while trade and security were the key issues publicly advanced by the both the White House and the Kenyan President's office ahead of and during the meeting, they did not tell the story of the meeting, noted John Campbell, a former USA ambassador to Nigeria and now senior fellow for Africa policy studies at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington. "This person is somebody that I like and I'm going to talk about it on Sunday".

A provision to overturn the amendment was included in last year's tax cut bill, but it was ultimately removed for procedural reasons. Hello, Robert. Who said about me: "He may not be the flawless human being, but he is the greatest leader for Christianity", Trump said to applause and laughter.

"I had the great Robert Jeffress back there".

Not the first part, ' Trump said. "For Kenyatta the very fact that he is received at the White House helps a bit in terms of refurbishing his reputation", said Campbell.

"Little thing: Merry Christmas, right?"

Kenyatta said he hoped Trump would share the wealth with his country. "Well, it's really not that hard to figure out when you realize he is the most pro-life, pro-religious liberty, pro-conservative judiciary in history, and that includes either Bush or Ronald Reagan".
