On their seventh two-game losing streak of the Brady era, New England will look to avoid just its second three-game losing streak in that same span.

Armando Salguero and Adam Beasley break down Sunday's hugely consequential showdown with the Patriots in the latest Dolphins in Depth podcast. No more excuses, it's time to see what this team is really made of.

"It was just so frustrating, probably the most frustrated I've ever been in a game, " said Harrison, the former Patriots safety who's now a studio analyst for NBC's Sunday Night Football.

"They're going to do a lot of things that are tough for us".

Wideout Josh Gordon, who was acquired from Cleveland last week, is uncertain to play versus Miami as he nurses a hamstring injury while getting up to speed on the Patriots' offense.

Over the last two games the Patriots have allowed a combined 638 passing yards and six touchdowns to Blake Bortles and Matthew Stafford. The five-time Pro Bowl selection has recorded 10.5 sacks in his career against New England. He's completed 73.0 percent of his passes for 67 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

Amendola used to catch passes from Brady, who found himself pacing along the sideline as the Patriots' 28th-ranked defense was gouged by the Detroit Lions last Sunday. The defense must find a way to get Miami off the field early, and keep it from grinding clock.

New England also had great difficulty with Detroit's ground game. Fewer head-scratching handoffs to Michel, and more spreading the ball around could be key. "So we're going to have to make sure we're on our A game".

If all else fails, it'll be interesting to see if the Patriots' two best players can will this team to a much needed victory. "It just makes me feel a little bit like when we got Wes (Welker) in Denver, where our younger guys realize, 'Wow, this guy really goes all out every rep in practice.' Danny is the same way".
