LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers laughs as he speaks on a set during the Los Angeles Lakers Media Day at the UCLA Health Training Center on September 24, 2018 in El Segundo, California.

LeBron James gave Lakers Nation an appetizer of things to come early on in his Lakers preseason debut against the Denver Nuggets.

James finished with nine points, three rebounds and four assists in just more than 15 minutes on court.

Clearly, The King is locked and loaded for the 2018-19 National Basketball Association campaign in which he intends to lead the Lakers into a much better record than the 35-47 slate Los Angeles had a season ago. "It was great to hear the roar from the (San Diego) crowd".

SNL Cuts Kanye's Pro-Trump Speech From Broadcast
Kanye West has announced he wants to be known as YE - a nickname he has used for many years and the title of his last album. Kim Kardashian's controversial husband wore Trump's famed " Make America Great Again " hat during the freaky appearance.

LeBron probably won't be playing a ton of minutes, but Lakers head coach Luke Walton is being coy about the plan.

James signed a four-year, $154 million contract with the Lakers in July after a four-season stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who he led to the NBA Finals each season, winning the championship in 2016.

The Lakers and the Nuggets are set to tip off at 9:30 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ESPN.
