A shooting by a Palestinian at an industrial zone for a West Bank settlement has killed two Israelis and wounded another, the army said.

As of 2:45 PM, Arab sources say the IDF has entered the home of the terrorist.

Local media reported on Sunday that the shooter, identified by police as a 23-year-old Palestinian man from Shuwaikah - a town in northern Tulkerem in the West Bank - was an employee at a factory in the Barkan industrial zone, where the incident took place.

Security forces were searching for the Palestinian.

A woman aged 54 was also found wounded, the medical services said. The prime minister said he was certain the perpetrator would be caught and brought to justice.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant group called the attack a "natural response" to Israeli crimes in Gaza, Jerusalem and Khan al-Ahmar, a Bedouin village in the West Bank slated for demolition. Barkan industrial park is adjacent to the settlement of Barkan and was established in the early 1980s.

The suspected assailant worked at the park, which employs both Israelis and Palestinians.
