LeBron James has said he wants to stay in the National Basketball Association long enough to share the court alongside his eldest son.

Asked this week in advance of his Los Angeles Lakers debut what kind of pop culture he's picked up from younger teammates, LeBron told reporters that his two oldest sons - LeBron Jr. and Bryce - are into pretty much the same kinds of things, so he gets a sneak peek at the next generation from home. "My 14 and 11 year olds drink wine", he said.

LeBron, a noted wine connoisseur himself, recently revealed that he gave up wine for two weeks while preparing for his first season with the Lakers which he says, "Made me want wine more". "That's how mature they are".
