Kanye West took a trip to meet with the president of Uganda after his freakish appearance at the White House where he had lunch with President Donald Trump and went on a lengthy impromptu rant in the Oval Office.

A statement from State House noted that the American couple discussed with Mr Museveni issues related to investment potential in Uganda and Africa in general, especially in the areas of tourism, among other vast areas of interest.

The Prez went on.

The opening sketch of "Saturday Night Live" on October 13 was a parody of Kanye West's visit to the White House on Thursday. "Enjoy your time in Uganda", Museveni tweeted. "There is no country more attractive than the Pearl of Africa", Mr Museveni posted.

"This place makes memories flood back", Meyers said in his opening monologue.

"America has got one of the best presidents ever".

Clearly, the writers at SNL did not take their Oval Office shoutout from West to heart and will likely continue to mock both President Trump and West for years to come. Trump, as portrayed by recurring guest star Alec Baldwin, realized in voice-over as Yeezy - a "Make America Great Again"-hatted Chris Redd - riffed on some of the president's more freaky past claims". I was here when Donald Trump hosted in 2004.

It ends with Trump telling Kanye that he loves him and that they have a lot in common: "We are both geniuses, we're both married to attractive women and we've both definitely been recorded saying the N-word". "Try to tell me what to say".

He then moved on to West, saying he is a "huge" fan of his music - but said he was not surprised by West's support for Trump after having an experience with him on SNL in the past.
