Arsenal on alert as Barcelona tell Ousmane Dembele that he can leave

Today, Ousmane Dembele is linked with Arsenal and Liverpool....

Liverpool have been handed a transfer boost as Barcelona have reportedly told winger Ousmane Dembele, a target for the Reds in the recent past, that he can leave the Catalan giants in January.

The 21-year-old emerged as one of the hottest properties in world football during his time at Borussia Dortmund to earn a big money move to Barcelona in the summer of 2017 but he's struggled to establish himself under boss Ernesto Valverde.

Dembele's off-the-field conduct has been called into question in recent weeks, however, after turning up late for a pre-match meeting ahead of the recent Champions League clash with Inter Milan.

RAC1 say that the players will get their wish and Dembele will be allowed to move on in January if a club makes a suitable offer.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have been placed on high alert with the news that Barcelona are reportedly prepared to sell France worldwide Ousmane Dembele.

Unai Emery has made a solid start to life in England after replacing Arsene Wenger in the summer but his Arsenal squad lacks any real width so Dembele would be a sensational signing if they could pull it off and obviously he knows Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan well from their time together at Dortmund.

Ousmane Dembele is likely to consider his next club based on getting enough playing chances which he might not really get at Liverpool because they already have a strong attack.
