The Rams acquired the defensive end from the Jaguars, the team announced less than 10 minutes before Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline.

Then again, when looking at how Jacksonville as a team hasn't really been living up to the hype this year after recently losing for the fifth time in six games, so maybe moving on from Fowler was the best move in general.

Fowler joins the Rams from the Jaguars, where he was the No. 3 overall pick in 2015.

Wayne Rooney fires warning to squad over Jose Mourinho
Mourinho had launched an unexpected defence of Ianni after former Manchester United star Phil Neville called for the assistant's sacking.

He missed all of the 2015 season when he suffered a season-ending knee injury during rookie camp, but bounced back to tally 14.0 career sacks, 14 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits in his two-and-a-half seasons in Jacksonville.

The Los Angeles Rams made multiple moves this offseason to bolster their defense.

The Jaguars on Tuesday traded the fourth-year veteran pass rusher to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for two draft selections: a third-round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft and a fifth-round selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. The 24-year-old hasn't had the start to the season that he had hoped with eight total tackles, 2.0 sacks, and a forced fumble, but the change of scenery could be huge for him pick it up to be a major factor.
