Aaron Rodgers Is Closer To Big Ben Than Tom Brady

Quarterback greats Brady and Rodgers were facing each other for just the second time in the National Football League at Gillette Stadium and the Patriots star came out on top, leading a 31-17 win over the Green Bay Packers. Love him or hate him, there's no denying he will go down as one of the greatest, maybe even the greatest, quarterback of all time but for now let's see if the "old man" can take down the gunslinger, Rodgers, in tonight's game.

The two will meet for just the second time in their careers, when the Packers (3-3-1) and Patriots (6-2) square off Sunday night. Baltimore faces off against Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baker Mayfield play Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes, and finally Drew Brees and Jared Goff serve as the opening act for Brady and Rodgers.

"I thought we played great defensively", Brady told reporters.

Rodgers and the Packers won the only other showdown, 26-21 at Green Bay, in 2014.

Big Ben & Co. are looking for their fourth straight victory, and that's despite all the drama - will he show up or not? - surrounding the still absent Le'Veon Bell. Brady seemed to call the play an accident, but in real time it looked like Edelman was in the area and overthrown on objective. It looked like we had him on a lot of plays, to be honest with you. It's shocking to say it, but the defense might actually be the best unit on this team, and until things get better on offense, they'll continue to be looked at to set the pace. Perkins is coming off of a 217-yard passing and 112-yard rushing performance in Virginia's win against North Carolina.

"I loved going to Lambeau Field and playing him four years ago", Brady said.

Brady enters Sunday's game second in National Football League history for the most combination passing, rushing and receiving yards in the regular-season and playoffs. If that's the case, it won't be much different from what Adams has faced all year. Brady has rushed for 140 yards in his postseason career, including a 15-yard scramble in Super Bowl LI to convert a third-and-8 when the Patriots trailed 28-3.

The Packers seemed poised to take the lead on the following drive, and drove from their 7 to the Patriot 24 thanks to two passes to Valdes-Scantling for 50 yards.
