Wilson did respond to Mo'Nique when she directly reached out, but that doesn't seem to have stopped her from blocking people for saying exactly what Mo'Nique is saying.

Rebel Wilson has responded to claims she made last week about being the "first ever" plus-size woman to star in a romantic comedy.

Last week, Rebel Wilson incorrectly claimed to be the first plus-sized actress to star in a rom-com, and she keeps blocking people on Twitter who point out the Black actresses who came before her.

"Hey my sweet sister".

Rebel has not addressed the fan reaction to her original comments, but in another Tweet told playwright Claire Willet: '[I] will address when promoting the film in proper forums'. Let's please not allow this business to erase our talent with giving grey areas and technicalities.

Rebel Wilson caught some heat on Thursday for declaring herself the first plus-sized woman to be the lead in a romantic comedy.

Demi Lovato Spotted Out For The First Time Since Hospitalisation
Demi's visit to LA comes after it was reported that she is considering not returning to the Southern California city permanently. On Nov. 3, Twitter users said they spotted Lovato at Universal Studios' event Halloween Horror Nights.

As Georgia Byrd in 2006's "Last Holiday", Queen Latifah fell for LL Cool J's Sean Williams after embarking on a luxury European vacation assuming she had just weeks to live.

By Saturday, Mo'Nique herself chimed in on Twitter, suggesting Wilson "take a moment and know the history" of romantic comedies before making such bold claims about her casting. "I wish you the best", tweeted Mo'Nique, 50, whose real name is Monique Angela Hicks.

Wilson tweeted that she believes there is a "grey area" about whether Queen Latifah and Mo'Nique could be considered plus-size, and whether their films were categorized as single-lead romantic comedies. "Technically those films are categorized/billed [sic] as a studio rom-com with a sole lead", she wrote.

"Isn't It Romantic" also stars Liam Hemsworth, Adam DeVine, and Priyanka Chopra.

Instead of apologizing via Notes app, as so many who mess up on Twitter do, Wilson's response was to block her critics.
