And it seems that Pep Guardiola is yet to be convinced with the youngster as Leroy Sane has managed to start only five games in the Premier League so far.

Leroy Sane rebutted the suggestion that he could make a shock move to Manchester United and insists playing for Manchester City's rivals is not something he ever expects to do.

Last week, a bookmaker slashed their odds on the Germany global making a surprise move to Old Trafford.

United have scored 14 fewer goals than City in the Premier League this season and the addition of Sane would significantly boost their attacking threat, but the Germany global was unequivocal in his response to the suggestion of what would be a controversial move.

When asked about reports linking him with a move to United, Sane laughed: "That won't happen".

Despite the competition, Sane insists he has no concerns as City prepare for a Champions League tie at home to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday before welcoming United to the Etihad on Sunday.

"It's a big strength for us that anyone can score the goals, and we have that hunger", he said.

Even before Avni was killed, animal rights activists had voiced similar disapproval questioning many aspects of the hunt. Asgar Ali, the 37-year-old son of controversial sharpshooter Nawab Shafat Ali, said that he shot Avni in self-defence .

"It's so important not to just have one or two players who score the goals", said Sane.

"But we also have a hunger to give each other assists, it makes things easier.

It's fun to play with this team".

'I am really happy here and I'm on the right side'.

"It makes us so hungry to win the game and to score a lot of goals".

'I have not been anxious at all.

German national team manager Joachim Low chose to leave Leroy Sane out of the World Cup squad and if that was not enough, Leroy Sane had to prove his worth once again to his club manager at the start of the current season.
