LaVar Ball announced on Twitter that his youngest son, LaMelo, is leaving the JBA USA team and returning to complete his senior year of high school at SPIRE Institute (Geneva, Ohio).
LaMelo Ball last played high school basketball as a sophomore at Chino Hills in Southern California.
LaMelo arrived back in the US on Monday and will complete his high school career as a senior at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
First it was Lonzo Ball opting to go the independent route by helping launch his family's brand instead of signing a traditional sneaker contract with Nike, adidas or Under Armour.

"I've chose to return to highschool and complete my senior year", LaMelo Ball wrote. "Playing in global competition was a great experience".
The brothers returned to the United States this past summer and played in the Junior Basketball Association, a league run by their father, LaVar. "I guess that means JBA is officially over", a report revealed.
He will reportedly make his debut with Spire on November 13 against national power La Lumiere in Indiana. In his last JBA International Tour game against the London Lions, the now 6-7 point guard posted a 41-point triple-double (17 assists and 13 rebounds). During his time in the JBA - which ended with a championship for the Los Angeles Ballers - LaMelo averaged 40.0 points, 13.8 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 3.6 steals per game. 4 assists, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.1 steals. A year ago he dropped out of Chino Hills.
