Matt Kuchar is tied for the lead and looking for his first win in more than four years, but there's a massive logjam right below him on the leaderboard.

"I figured she would be good to handle it and Zach would go easy on her". Playing his second straight week in the autumn - and his last tournament before his wedding - Spieth traded birdies and bogeys and had to settle for an even-par 71, leaving him in need to a good round on Friday just to stick around for the weekend.

One of his former roommates had no such issues.

Spieth had his first PGA Tour victory seven months after leaving college early.

The large group at 65 included defending champion Patton Kizzire, who had back-to-back eagles, and Abraham Ancer, who this week reached No. 98 to become the first Mexican golfer to crack the top 100 in the world ranking.

Según testigos de la discusión, Vargas estuvo " hasta cerca de irse a las manos " con su entrenador, pero habría calmado la situación cuando Carioca le gritaba iracundo a Ferreti: " Por qué siempre yo, por qué, explícame, explícame ".

Also at 65 were Bud Cauley as he returns from a auto accident at the Memorial in early June, defending champion Patton Kizzire, who made back-to-back eagles on the par-5 5th hole and by holing out on the par-4 6th, and Sydneysider Matt Jones.

The PGA Tour fall schedule is going strong and players get to enjoy a little time on the beach for this week's Mayakoba Golf Classic in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

"She knows the deal of keeping up and staying out of the way", Kuchar added, "and I knew Zach would be happy to see a friendly face to take over the bag". With his normal caddie already holding a scheduling conflict, Kuchar instead hired a local caddie to fill the void.

Kuchar and Johnson live at Sea Island on the Georgia coast.

"If you're driving it well, you can make some birdies, which I was able to do today".
