Dez Bryant injury: WR suffers apparent Achilles tear at practice

"Things was just starting to heat up for me", Bryant said on Twitter a few hours after the injury.

Bryant agreed to a one-year, $600,000 contract on Wednesday and was participating in his second practice when he was injured. "He's getting an MRI now".

Saints fear WR Dez Bryant tore his Achilles on the last play of practice today, as @nflnetwork also reported.

This is a potential huge disappointment for Bryant who was not only excited to join a possible Super Bowl team but looking forward to a homecoming on November 29 when the Saints played the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. At 30 years old, he was already declining physically.
