The First Detective Pikachu Trailer Is Weird And Wonderful

As the name of the move suggests, the movie is based around Pokemon's most recognisable figure, Pikachu.

When Detective Pikachu was announced as a live-action movie starring Ryan Reynolds, I was pretty anxious.

The Canadian actor plays the voice of the much-loved Pokemon character Pikachu in the new flick, titled Detective Pikachu.

The trailer also features other Pokemon like Psyduck, Jigglypuff, Bulbasaur, Charlizard, Charmander and more. What's more, it actually looks pretty wonderful - despite how insanely unbelievable it is that a live-action Pokémon film adaptation really exists.

Propuesta de eliminar comisiones bancarias no es de Morena: Polevnsky
Descartó que vaya censurar a los senadores de Morena por impulsar esa iniciativa que, precisó, no va a tono con las prioridades de su Gobierno.

The film also stars Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, Suki Waterhouse and Rita Ora. "Just didn't think it'd be this soon".

Detective Pikachu hits screens on May 10, 2019. Aiding in the investigation is Harry's former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself. After discovering that Tim is the only person able to understand what Pikachu is saying, the two work together to locate his missing father in the futuristic metropolis of Ryme City.

While we don't know how much the Detective Pikachu movie will borrow from the plot of the game, it makes sense that the powerful Pokemon at least makes an appearance in the movie.
