Green Suspended After Locker Room Confrontation With Durant

Despite Durant's pleading, Green dribbled the length of the court for a would-be last shot and promptly lost control of the ball as time expired.

Durant could be seen demanding the ball for the entirety of that final possession, and an argument before overtime ended with notorious peacemaker DeMarcus Cousins separating Green from the huddle.

The Warriors pulled off their 12th victory in 15 games even minus the suspended Green and injured superstar Steph Curry.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski had the scene of the altercation described to him, and it's certainly not a good look for Golden State.

Durant wanted the ball to take the last shot in the fourth quarter but Green took it up the court himself and did not get a shot off.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr and general manager Bob Myers told reporters Tuesday that the Draymond Green-Kevin Durant confrontation had nothing to do with Durant's impending free agency.

Because of how heated things got, Green is going to sit out in their home game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Jaden Smith says Tyler, The Creator is his boyfriend
Jaden has said in the past that he considers himself 'gender fluid, ' but he has never opening discussed his sexuality before. Tyler caught wind of the claim and responded hours later, neither confirming or denying Smith's allegations.

Green can be a free agent in 2020, but Durant's sensitivity is well-documented, and it is clear that he was unhappy with how events played out on Monday night.

Their contest with the Los Angeles Clippers was tied in regulation when Green rebounded the ball (while Durant was trying to grab it) with six seconds to play, and you can see from the clip below that KD was clapping for the ball immediately. But the fact that the Warriors felt the need to suspend him for a game shows that he clearly crossed a line on Monday night.

"Guys wanted a different outcome than what happened", Livingston said.

"There would be no point for me to be on the floor if I didn't have confidence", said Williams, who finished with 25 points.

"I don't think anybody in our locker room, anyone on our coaching staff thinks twice about Kevin's free agency", Kerr said, adding that the Warriors are focused on their pursuit of another National Basketball Association championship.

"He's been playing the same game for like 10 years now", Shaun Livingston said of Williams.
