Sophia Floersch, a 17-year-old Formula 3 driver, has fractured her spine in a horror crash during the Macau Grand Prix.
'Thanks to the @fia and @hwaag_official @MercedesAMGF1 who are taking great care of me.
Marshals quickly regain their composure and rush to the aid of the teenager and the other injured people.
Floersch, 17, was sent hurtling into the barriers lining the edge of the race track when her vehicle vaulted over another auto. Tsuboi, the driver Floersch hit, is suffering from back pain as a result of the crash, with two photographers and a marshal also in hospital with different injuries.
On lap five, Jessopp got past Johnson and went straight after Webb for third, levering the former grand prix star aside before beginning to go after Rutter, who was almost five seconds ahead. "Following evaluation by the medical staff, the driver is conscious and has subsequently been taken to the hospital for further evaluation". Photographer Chan Weng Wang suffered a liver laceration, while photographer Minami Hiroyuki had a concussion.

Dramatic footage captured gasps from the crowd as Floersch's machine flew through the air and into safety netting at the Guia Circuit's Lisboa bend, a sharp right-hander.
Sophia Floersch has tweeted to say that she is "fine" after a horrific crash at today's Macau Grand Prix.
Floersch reportedly lost control in contact down a straightaway, launched off a curb and bounced off Tsuboi's auto.
There was a delay of over an hour in Macau before the race got back underway.
Sophia is seen as one of the up-and-coming stars in motorsports, and had previously raced in Formula 4, an open-wheel racing auto category for junior drivers, reported English tabloid The Sun.
