Charlotte Hornets guard Kemba Walker becomes the first player to score 60 points on the Philadelphia 76ers in 54 years, the last being Wilt Chamberlin who scored 59 points back in 1964.

Butler had 15 points in his third game with his new team.

Walker's 60 points were the most in the National Basketball Association this season, topping Klay Thompson's 52 against Chicago on October 29.

Butler's play in the final seconds was the difference.

But Butler blocked a Walker jumper, setting up his own offensive heroics to clinch the win for the 76ers who sit fifth in the eastern conference.

The Hornets led 89-84 one minute into the fourth quarter after a 3-pointer by Miles Bridges before the 76ers tightened the defensive screws. But despite Kemba's exceptional performance, it was Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler that carried the Sixers to victory.

JJ Redick finished with 23 points for Philadelphia, including two key jumpers in overtime.

Donovan Mitchell had 28 points and six assists for the Jazz, Ricky Rubio added 20 while Ingles had seven points, three rebounds and six assists and fellow Australian Dante Exum chimed in with 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
