Schurtz and her fiancé, Joseph D. Kearney, were driving to their wedding venue in Pittsburgh on Wednesday when a tractor-trailer hit their vehicle and killed them both. They were set to be married later that same day in Pittsburgh.
A viewing will be held today for a New Jersey woman who was killed along with her fiancé in a auto crash last week in Pennsylvania.
News 12 New Jersey reported that the crash happened Wednesday on Interstate 78 in Berks County when a tractor-trailer hit the back of their auto, causing a chain reaction with four other vehicles.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Kathryn M. Schurtz Scholarship Fund at Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
Services for Schurtz are scheduled this week at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains.
