Disney details new 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' attractions

"One of the things I am most excited about is inviting our guests into that Star Wars universe", creative executive Scott Trowbridge says. The other interesting part of all this is that legendary composer John Williams has written brand new music for the theme park's attractions. Plus, a new look at Galaxy's Edge's first rides, along with their official names.

Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products chairman Bob Chapek revealed at the Destination D event at Walt Disney World Resort the two new attractions that will be introduced on opening day at Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. Spoilers: You might want some Kleenex, as it's absolutely gorgeous.

The Black Spire village is envisioned as a remote trading outpost. Check out a video just released giving some teasers of Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run! It will put riders in control of the Millennium Falcon.

Rise of the Resistance, guests are members of the Resistance and taken prisoner aboard a Star Destroyer, where they must fight to escape. Entertainment Weekly has this exclusive video preview, shot from within the finished interiors of the ride.
