Winners and losers from the Steelers miraculous win over the Jaguars

The Jaguars (3-7) dropped their sixth in a row in a game they controlled until the final five minutes.

And the big quarterback scored the game victor himself, with a rough 1-yard run, barely getting into the end zone. "If you just had one first down on any of those drives, you had a chance to win that football game, and we weren't able to do that".

But he's struggled mightily with turnovers against Jacksonville, which intercepted him three times Sunday and has forced the quarterback into 10 turnovers in three meetings dating back to previous year.

But after a brilliant fourth-quarter comeback to overcome an bad first three quarters, Roethlisberger relished in a 20-16 win that quieted Jacksonville's chirp.

Roethlisberger was 11-of-24 for 66 yards through the game's first 44 minutes but finished with 314 yards as the Steelers offense went no-huddle attack. No matter. Roethlisberger hit Brown over the middle to the 2, and after a pair of penalties, Roethlisberger rolled to his right and surged across the line on a 1-yard score that was upheld on review. But all they managed in the first half were three field goals from Josh Lambo. Bortles was largely ineffective, throwing for just 104 yards.

Pittsburgh came into the game tied for the league lead with 31 sacks and got to Bortles six times. Javon Hargrave and T.J. Watt now has 17 career sacks, the most by a Steelers player in his first two seasons since Keith Willis, who had 15 in 1982 and 1983.

"Legendary play", guard Ramon Foster said. "So we knew we had to make stops".

Before the Steelers would wind up writing their own story with the wild 20-16 rally past the Jaguars, believe me, please, that their Sunday afternoon at TIAA Bank Stadium was all about that fall.

With the Steelers trailing 9-0 in the third quarter, Roethlisberger threw to Brown over the middle. He tried to run out of the end zone, stumbled and kept going until he was ruled down by contact.

James Conner came into the game with 771 yards rushing, tops in the AFC.
