The new title - which seems to be one half Mariah Carey album title, one half jokey version of the full title of that Birdman movie - will make for a painfully long hashtag once the promotional push begins for the film.

While you might think that these scribbles on the finished script by Robbie are nothing more than Harley-esque joshing, the new title was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, and the image itself was retweeted by the official Warner Brothers account.

As per her Instagram (embedded below), the movie is called Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

The title also could allude to the film's plot - which will apparently see Harley break away from her romance with The Joker. The character's comic book arcs since DC's revamp in 2011 have focused on her coming into her own: Her solo series since 2013, Harley Quinn, written by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, featured her in a romantic relationship with Poison Ivy, and in 2016, the series' 25th issue saw her cutting ties with the Joker once and for all. Once Cassandra's life is in danger, it's up to Harley and a number of other vigilantes - mainly Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) - to protect the girl. It's a really fun, fun cast'. Ewan McGregor plays the bad guy, Black Mask.
