Jokic recorded his second triple-double of the season in the victory, netting 23 points with 15 assists and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets.

Harris was replaced in the lineup by Malik Beasley, who finished the game with 15 points.

Kawhi Leonard scored 27 points, Serge Ibaka had 15 and Pascal Siakam 14 for the Raptors.

Taking a double-digit lead into the second half, the Nuggets had an opportunity to pick up a big time road win, while also picking up their sixth-straight win in the process. The ball swished through the net before referees waved off the three points. Toronto began the half with a three-pointer to cut the lead to single digits, but a couple Nuggets baskets later and the lead was back to 10 with 7:50 remaining in the third.

Denver led 27-24 after the first quarter after going ahead with an 8-0 run.

Jokic replied with a hook shot, then on Toronto's final frantic possession, Danny Green missed on two three-point attempts.

Blake Griffin led Detroit with 20 points. Beginning of the game, end of the game, they made some tough ones.

Toronto still maintained the momentum though and tied the game at 94 with 4:40 remaining. But fouls by Ibaka and Leonard proved costly, as Jokic had three free throws to clinch the win for Denver.

Julius Randle had 37 points, but the New Orleans Pelicans fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 129-126, with Tobias Harris sinking two free throws at the death to secure the win. Leonard tied the game on a fadeaway jumper with seven seconds left. Murray logged a whopping 41 minutes, scoring 21 points, dishing out eight assists, and grabbing seven rebounds.

The Nuggets (16-7 and first in the Northwest Division) will be back in action on Wednesday night when they'll travel to Orlando for a match-up against the Magic.
