Reuben Foster accuser Elissa Ennis comes forward: 49ers interfered with cops

"Anybody in my position would do the same", Ennis said.

Neither Foster nor his representatives have responded to ABC News' request for comment. Foster: "Our commitment to domestic violence survivors is unwavering".

"Even when I called the police, the 49ers came up there", Ennis said.

Officers observed an inch-long scratch on the side of Ennis's left collarbone and took Foster into custody, police said.

Foster was arrested nonetheless and was freed on a $2,000 bail. I told that I was gonna tell his new girlfriend that he paid for my flight out there, so that's what triggered it. ...

"I was threatening Reuben that I was going to fuck up his career", Ennis said. "And, so, I was like, 'I can't believe you're back doing this.' We were both seeing therapists and stuff, trying to work on our relationship". He used to come crying to me telling me he didn't have anybody.

Ennis said she sustained a concussion from the slap from Foster, a 6-foot-1, 280-pound linebacker.

After Foster's arrest, the 49ers placed Foster on waivers. He was the team's first-round draft pick in 2017.

Elissa Ennis, the ex-girlfriend of Reuben Foster, who was recently claimed by the Washington Redskins following a domestic violence arrest, sat down for an interview with "Good Morning America" today where she recalled a series of abusive events.

El rescate del perro fue posible gracias a la denuncia de los vecinos, que señalaron los dueños de Lucas lo estaban matando de hambre.

Following the news, the Santa Clara County District Attorney is now exploring the legal options regarding charging Foster again.

"Because I loved him", she said, when asked to explain why. I thought he would change.

Why did she later recant her statement to police?

In this latest incident, an argument led to a physical confrontation. Ennis said. "I really wanted to kill him". He then allegedly dragged her down the stairs, punched her in the face and kicked her, Ennis said.

On Thursday, Ennis recalled her horror at learning her alleged attacker had been picked up by another team.

She later recanted and said she had made up the story to ruin Foster's career and potentially sue him. It issued a statement after pouncing on him to say that it did not "condone" domestic violence but that more investigation was required into the incident.

The ex-girlfriend of Reuben Foster, who recanted under oath her claim that the former 49ers linebacker abused her earlier this year, now says she was lying to protect his National Football League career. She later recanted the claims, saying instead that her injuries were from a fight with a woman and that she was trying to get money out of her ex-boyfriend. "I wanted to get him", Ennis testified under oath, according to 49ers reporter Cam Inman. Foster and the 49ers were preparing to play the Buccaneers the next day.

"The 49ers fully cooperated with authorities, assisted in locating Mr".

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Foster is on the commissioner's exempt list and now ineligible to play. But, as La Canfora notes, Foster has previously violated the personal conduct policy and as a result, could face severe discipline.
