Chiefs sign Kelvin Benjamin

Two days after his release from the Bills, the wide receiver is set to sign with the Chiefs, according to a report from ESPN, which cited unidentified league sources.

Here are five things to know about the newest member of the Chiefs.

Benjamin, who cleared waivers and officially became a free agent Wednesday, was cut for performance reasons after a lackluster second season in Buffalo. In fact, the last of those scores was the game-winning touchdown in the 2014 BCS National Championship Game. This was the case at times with the Bills this year, as he piled up 23 catches on 62 targets for 354 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Though rumoured titles include - Avengers: Annihilation and Avengers: End Game , both of which suck honestly. Nothing is confirmed at this point and we've had no such teasers from Avengers 4 cast or crew.

Benjamin, 27, initially was selected by the Panthers with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2014 draft. He did tear his ACL to miss all of the 2015 season.

Heading into his first full season with the Bills, Buffalo hoped Benjamin could step firmly into the role of being their clear-cut No.1 receiving option in the passing game, but he struggled tremendously to prove that on a week-to-week basis. As if the Chiefs needed any more help stretching the field.
