Just a day after The Hollywood Reporter bemoaned that hosting the Oscars was the worst gig in town and that nobody wanted it, the bankable star signed on.

"I swear man, our world is becoming beyond insane".

In his memoir I Can't Make This Up, he said his marriage to Torrei Hart got violent. If my team calls me - 'Oh my God, the world is upset about tweets you did years ago.' Oh my God, guys, I'm nearly 40 years old. If you don't believe people change, grow, evolve as they get older.

‘Roma’ y Cuarón con tres nominaciones al Globo de Oro
Roma aspira al trofeo junto a Capernaum (Líbano), Girl (Bélgica), Never Look Away (Alemania) y Shoplifters (Japón). Sin embargo, " American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace " fue reconocida como la mejor miniserie.

"Stop looking for reasons to be negative. I don't know what to tell you". "I swear I wish you guys could see/feel/undersant the mental place that I am in. I'm nearly 40 years old and I'm in love with the man that I am becoming".

"I work hard on a daily basis to spread positivity to all", he declared, once again disregarding the feelings and experiences of many in the LGBTQ community. If u want to search my history or past and anger yourselves with what u find that is fine with me. I live to Love.

Within 24 hours of bearing the good news of his appointment as host of the 2019 Academy Awards in February, homophobic from yesteryear have begun to surface online, forcing Hart and his team into a frantic backpedaling motion. He then suggested that the people his jokes upset should, "take your negative energy and put it into something constructive". As Benjamin Lee points out in a piece for The Guardian, when Hart was asked in 2015 about joking about not wanting his son to be gay, he said, "I wouldn't tell that joke today, because when I said it, the times weren't as sensitive as they are now". In one joke, he said someone looked like a "gay bill board for AIDS" and referred to another person as a "FAT F-". "But me, as a heterosexual male, if I can prevent my son from being gay, I will". "They have not yet responded".
