New ‘Game of Thrones’ final season teaser promises epic battle

HBO hasn't made us literally watch a block of ice melt this year for a Game of Thrones Season 8 reveal, but it's already feeling like we'll be in that troll territory in no time.

The new clip gets symbolic, showing ice consuming statues of a wolf and a dragon on the Painted Table at Dragonstone, while fire engulfs a lion, rushing to meet the incoming chill.

It's not safe, however, to be literally anywhere in Westeros, as the Night King and his army of White Walkers are now moving south towards Winterfell, and who knows where else, bringing Winter with them.

The Game of Thrones season 8 teaser arranges itself as a conflict between the forces of fire and ice. It doesn't contain any new footage, so those looking to avoid spoilers don't have anything to worry about.

The teaser was first shown at a "Game of Thrones" panel at Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil. We see dragons being victims of ice (no more of that, we beg you) and proud Lannister lions being burned by fire.

Un video del accidente parece mostrar que secciones de la hélice de cola se desprendieron en medio vuelo. En este tiempo, además, se revisaron los componentes de los helicópteros AW169 y modelos similares.

It's all a big tease of a brewing battle between Daenerys, the North, and the Lannisters as they fight each other and the looming threat of the White Walkers during season eight of the HBO series.

Game of Thrones will be broadcast on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in April 2019.

The final season will be just six-episodes long.
