Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will be listed as day-to-day with a groin strain after team doctors had him undergo an MRI exam on Wednesday, the National Basketball Association team announced.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their two most respected leaders on Thursday after the team ruled Rajon Rondo out against the Sacramento Kings with a sprained finger on his right shooting hand.

The forward was injured during the Lakers' 127-101 victory over the Warriors on Christmas Day. James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin after the game that "the good thing is the muscle is intact".

El técnico del Sanse (filial), Imanol Alguacil , será el entrenador del primer equipo, pues desde noviembre de 2014 ha estado a cargo.

Rondo was terrific for the Lakers against Golden State - especially after James departed in the third quarter - and finished with 15 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. "James will be listed as day-to-day", a Lakers spokesperson said.

Los Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee (ill) will make the trip to Sacramento for Thursday's game where he'll be listed as questionable, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. James was caught on camera saying he felt a "pop". This means players like Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma will need to pick up some of the slack left by James. "It's more than anything being available to my teammates, to my coaching staff - that is something I take more personal than anything".

Entering play Wednesday, the Kings sit 1.5 games behind the Lakers in the Western Conference standings, so they will have a chance to close the gap over the next few days.
