Brothers of Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold robbed in cafe

Two guns were found in a nearby bush and seized by police as part of their investigation.

The brothers of England footballers Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold were attacked during an armed robbery at a restaurant.

Three people were injured in the raid, police said, although it is unclear if the footballer's brothers were hurt.

Marcus Rashford is a striker for Manchester United while Trent Alexander-Arnold plays for Liverpool in defence.

Police have been told the brutal gang brandished a shotgun, machete and baseball bat and attacked them shortly after they had stopped at the restaurant.

Their brothers were eating breakfast at a Caribbean restaurant when the incident happened, with the assailants robbing Dane of his watch and taking Tyler's wallet and the keys to his Range Rover.

Detectives are exploring the possibility the pair were followed by the gang, the Mail Online reported.
